Arsenal will be looking to build on their win over Premier League champions Liverpool, as they take on Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final.
The Gunners beat Jurgen Klopp’s side 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday night after coming back from a goal behind.
Despite being under heavy pressure in the second period, Arsenal held on for the three points, and maintained their hopes of European football for next season.
Next up, the Gunners make the short trip to Wembley Stadium where they face holders Manchester City for a place in the FA Cup final.
Mikel Arteta’s side will have good memories of the last time they faced Pep Guardiola’s men at this stage, after beating City 2-1 after extra time in 2016/17.
The Gunners then went on to beat Chelsea in the final to lift the trophy for a record 13th time.
For Arsenal head coach Arteta, silverware at the end of his first season in charge would represent a successful return considering the turmoil of Unai Emery’s sacking in November.
And the Spaniard has some big decisions to make for the game against his former mentor Guardiola.
Arsenal will definitely be without Gabriel Martinelli, Bernd Leno, Calum Chambers and Pablo Mari who are all unavailable due to long term injuries.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was rested against Liverpool, so the Arsenal captain looks set to return to the starting line-up.
But what of Mesut Ozil? The German playmaker has been in training this week, so could make his first appearance since the season restarted.
Here is the full squad available to the Arsenal boss for FA Cup
