Surulere Unrest: The police have sent officials to Coker Aguda following reports of assaults and shootings in the zone. The assault comes after Surulere inhabitants got a letter from the feared burglary group “1 Million boys” advising them that they were coming to burglarize them.
A few inhabitants of Aguda and Ijesha took to Twitter to raise caution, asserting an assault has been going on in the region for a considerable length of time.
Some asserted there were numerous discharges. Others asserted it’s a go head to head among police and the famous pack.

“Aguda Surulere has been n fire since evening. They’ve been robbing,shooting and slaughtering one another. Police and those infamous young men has been doing go head to head, I dont think the discharges are finishing at any point in the near future,” @Maami_Chulo tweeted.
In any case, some Twitter clients living in the zone guaranteed it’s “phony news”, including that the territory is quiet.

However, some Twitter users living in the area claimed it’s “fake news”, adding that the area is calm.

The police have now deployed a team to quell the unrest and guard the area.
Sharing photos of police patrolling the area, the Lagos State Police Command tweeted: “Police officers from RRS and divisions around Area C are presently at Coker Aguda to quell the unrest caused by miscreants in that area. Heavy patrols and combing of inner streets are also being carried out to fish out the perpatrators.
“Residents are advised to remain calm as the situation is under control.”
